Hi! I'm Hitaesh, a computer engineering student and software engineer. I love building software and understanding how it works down to the hardware. I build backend APIs and fullstack apps, and lately I've been getting into AI and agents.

I'm studying computer engineering at Purdue University and graduating in May 2027. I like making things that people can use, but I also like knowing what's happening underneath.
I'm currently working part time at Vanguard, where I've been building with AWS and finding ways to bring AI into developer workflows. Recently, I built a Claude skill that replaced a test data generation app, so developers can generate the data they need right in their workflow.
On the hardware side, I built a dual core RISC V processor in SystemVerilog. Working through the pipeline, caches, and hazards gave me a much better understanding of what actually happens when code runs. I like being able to connect that back to the software I write.
Outside of work and classes, I'm building Scent Radar, a fragrance price comparison app. I'm also looking for software engineering roles where I can build interesting things and learn from the people around me.
